@cclarry, you know mixing, I don't. As most of the stuff I do is rock, and, as you know, I am incompetent at mixing and you are good at mixing, I can use your advice --  do you think this is worth me spending a buck on or is it more suited for EDM (as that is the genre the demos focus on)?

You don’t need it. Put the dollar in a can towards something you do need.

It's not really worth bothering in this particular deal for them to. If someone takes advantage of this offer, then their first purchase is only $5 so the referral is non existent 🙂

    Hahaha...ok :). I can let that one go :):):)

For new customers, on the United Plugins website, my Code UP9198165 should get 20% off for new customers and you get €10 credit to your account.

In theory that should mean if you buy one of €5 plugins first, you get it for €4 but you get €10 credit towards your next purchase.

Then on your next order, the other four cost €20 (i.e. 4 x €5), but you can take off €10 on that second order.

So you could get all 5 plugins for €14 at https://unitedplugins.com/ 🙂

    • FireCobra
    • MorphVerb
    • Royal Compressor
    • Transmutator
    • Quick AG

You can add other more expensive plugins to the first order and they will get 20% off, but the cheaper ones are best done as a second order.

Now we’ll get a whole load of people posting their referral codes. Here we go again.

And the uhe synths are workhorses. Good combo.

To be honestly, honestly honest I don't use a lot of synths...I like Junos and a 303 here and there. For the most part, old stuff. Transistor organs, Mellotrons, Rhodes pianos and that sort of stuff gets more use here. "Real instruments" if you know what I mean. Humble guitarist.

Another thought on this matter : I've completely ignored their ecosystem because tons of synths don't help me produce quality sounds. Picked half a dozen uhe and TAL products and that's it for me. If you are interested in a particular one, you can always demo. So for me, this bundle is great for entry level or if you have very little money available.  Or as a bunch of new toys for grown ups.

Absolutely great for entry level. As I said, I have a lot of Cherry stuff so this bundle isn't for me just for one license. But yeah, agree TAL are magic.

I've been contemplating picking this one up too and I think, after listening to the demos -- especially the ones with the Rhodes (audio demo 2), the vintage synth (audio demos 3, 4 and 11 sounded pretty good to my ears), and the Mellotron (audio demo 6), it's going to be a go. I don't love it on acoustic drums or guitar, but I think it sounds really good on vintage analog synths, Tron sounds, and electric piano. Although it is super noisy.

Yeah, I thought it sounded ok on my Jazzmaster but it’s nice on keyboards. Get it in JRR for $8.89 with FORUM code.

    This is getting ugly

But this is a cruel, toxic, over the line defamatory pile on

    vicuous  defamatory attacks.

    just mocking someone

Hmm. I didnt see anybody writing anything other than the facts. Nothing cruel, mocking or toxic. That’s said maybe I missed something.
