  1. I like his series What Makes This Song Great.. but you also have to remember he wants to sell you a book, and a mug.

I know for a fact that Pete Townshend used a click track when he recorded songs at his home, and then went into the studio where Keith Moon used the same click to record the drums.. i play my own drums and i use a click track, but i wouldn't look down on someone using the session Drummer program. I still tend to speed up and slow down because i'm anticipating the next bit..

    Hey,

Thanks for checking out the video, buddy, I greatly appreciate you taking time to check it out and your encouraging comments!😀

While I do use a lot of Drop D on my stuff, and quite a few other strange alternate tunings, this one is actually in Drop B, which is really low and a bit touchy if you don't have the guitar setup for super low tuning.  I also use DR DDT special Drop Down Tuning Strings on a couple of my guitars because they perform a bit better on really low drop tunings, and allow you to change to different low tunings without too many intonation problems.👍

Thanks again for commenting, and have a good one!

I want to go on record because I've been noodling with music for 45 years..... and I've never been on vinyl - and chicks think its cool , unfortunately I'm too old to be cool ( according to ACTUAL cool people ).

Intonation  ( in my mind - is about setting the 12th fret to center of the open string between nut and bridge, in incorporates scale length,  string tension, string gauge and  can be greatly affected by pick-up magnetic attraction. I 'm unclear how to set intonation from the third fret ? If you can explain - I'd like to learn something new. Tuning from the third fret can offer the typical offset of the change in tension from fretting - that makes sense to me. no harm no foul if the intonation is correct.

I've got an old fake strat" just put new strings on it, give "em" a few days to settle in and i'm gonna give it a shot:D

can't find anything on youtube but in the comments part someone did mention it..

I don't own a wah, so I had to dust off my old POD X3 which I have an expression pedal for.  I forgot that you can definitely get some workable tones with that thing.  All that crunch/wah guitar is the POD dialed up with the little Marshall 18 watt combo and one of the POD overdrives.  Who knew?

Well it sounds killer through my speakers, good ear.

Had forgotten all about that. That's what happens when the fame isn't organic, which is why a lot of the pop artists today are forgettable. Major advertisement pushes with cash-grab merchandise and then moving on to the next one.

Speaking of merchandise, Kim Kardashian has a Fake Your Way To Fame T-Shirt line

Ohh. Thought it was a video about me. Lol

No worries, your secret is safe with me. I swear i haven't told any BandLab employee, or anyone on this forum about your fake celebrity status.

so i'm thinking this guys father sat down with him and said you can have a fake education, or a fake carreer.

but either way you're out of the house when you turn eighteen.
