we've seen InMusic release schedules slip by months/years. Still no native M1 versions despite lots of 'promises' I think BFD was already suffering reputational damage before the mess that is the current licensing fiasco. there has been a handful of fixes but lots of the basic problems remain IMO It's such a shame as BFD had such great potential - but for some time SD3 has been a much better/safer option.

unfortunately Jamstix hasn't been properly maintained in years no VST3 no native M1 Jamstix is a great concept, although still looks like something from windows3.1 ! I'd be reluctant to recommend anybody spend money on it in 2022/2023

I'm not denying that the current situation at BFD is a total car crash, not least because of the licensing mess, but it is possible to get it working. are you licenses still saying "not authorised" ? Shame to buy it, download it, install it and not actually get any use out of it.

Saw it earlier, it was a demo of the new plugin plus the unannounced - not free - version called Magma BB Tubes. Assume Waves sent a 'cease and desist' type notice. TBH wasn't a great demo so you're not missing out on much. It also shows how many people are getting the Waves stuff to 'promote' - so you should always take those kind of demos with a HUGE pinch of salt IMO

I'm still not sure that's a good deal ? The Classics bundle is a bit 'meh' and even needs the full version of Kontakt, it won't work in the free player. For about the same price you could have bought the amazing Arturia collection V9 (for example) which has 33 excellent synths. I think Spitfire have very much gone of the boil in the last year or so.

a fairly poor selection of deals from Spitfire this year I think The bundles are unattractive (to me) and the discounts on everything else aren't very compelling. Oh well, that's a BF saving for me

FWIW the code was in my account (plus another different random code) but none of it is automatic and you need to make sure you select the correct upgrade etc etc

I'm enjoying posting to this thread (and it's basically my inner monologue) so here's one more post My last upgrade from Collection 2 to Collection 3 was $49 (in April 2022) - so I'm waiting until the upgrade is on sale again as I don't really see these new additions as 'must have'

same here - but it still makes me edgy - I've never know software to delete unrelated entire folders, without warning before - scary ! I always keep a very careful eye on it just in case

I'm always nervous running Software Pass more than necessary - still remember this 2 1/2 years later. they have changed the install routine since then but once bitten etc.
