  1. Hello Group Just curious which algorithm you use on distorted guitar chords? I've tried melodic and polyphonic. I just seem to be getting way too much data with polyphonic. Thanks!
  2. Ueberschall player has quite a learning curve...
  3. I bought ueberschall shred guitar. I don't know if it's because they're in Germany, but the DL speed is slooooowww!
  4. Hello So I'm watching a Creative Sauce video on Matrix view and he pulls out SI bass. I have strings and piano, but where did bass come from? I did my CbB install over old versions, but I didn't upgrade every version when it came out, so maybe I missed the one that Included SI bass. Ideas?
  5. I have both of those sample libraries. They come with some good midi grooves you can just drop into your project and manipulate them as desired.
  6. @bitflipper and you know what they prescribe for glaucoma! I found that the larger the monitor and the higher the resolution, the smaller the fonts seemed to get. I posted for help and the recommendation I got was to actually make the change in my Windows display settings. Problem solved? Fast forward x years, and I can't figure out why some of my 3rd party plug-in GUIs have a section of the window cut off-- sometimes removing functions. Yeah, you're right. The Windows display settings!! Now, I just stretch my neck forward to see the functions in CW. +1 if they would bake in text resizing!
  7. This is starting to look more like what I'm after. Thanks
  8. Thanks. I saw the 8Dio stuff, but I'll check out the others too!
  9. If you look at the mixer in kontakt you will probably see that the snare and the sidestick are in the same channel/track. AFAIK you can't assign them to separate outputs in CW.
  10. @msmcleod Thanks for this. I was hoping there was an electric guitar equivalent to something like NI Session Drummer or the other Abby Road drum samples where you can either play each sample from a midi controller or use the midi grooves with drag n drop. Not looking like such a thing exists. I'm mostly looking for rock guitar solos. (actually I'm only looking for solos) but I figured they'd be bundled with other stuff like strumming, chords, etc.
  11. Hello I'm looking for a recommendation for rock electric guitar solo samples for kontakt, preferably <$100. If strumming is included, that's fine. Thanks!
  12. It's the B string position. (Guitar really needs a good cleaning!)
  13. Hello One of the posts, or poles on one of my Seymour Duncan pickups is really low down, almost below the pickup housing. Is there a way to raise an individual post/pole? Thanks
  14. As an update, I did this last night and it worked flawlessly. I wonder how many people know about this? Thanks again all!
  15. I've got the AAA maple top trans blue. My mother bought it for me before she passed away. Great guitar!!
  16. Hey @John Vere I've got the Godin LGXT. Which one do you have? (I have the same guitar synth too)
  17. Awesome! Perfect. I actually would have never figured that out on my own. Thanks!
  18. Probably, but my new project is already a bit under way.
  19. Hello Group I'm almost embarrassed to ask this question because I feel like I should know this by now. (I'm not in my studio right now and I didn't see the documentation on the CW site). I setup my screensets in my last project exactly the way I wanted them. Now, I'm starting a new project and the screensets aren't there and the import function is grayed out. I'm guessing I missed a step in saving the screensets from my old project. This is where I need some help. Many thanks!
  20. Hello Group I never start a project at zero, and I use the m:b:f time counter. I never know how long my track is until I export it. Is there a trick or feature in CbB where I can measure the time length of a project while it's still being worked on (not done or ready to export)?
  21. I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees this acquisition as a potentially bad thing. I love Boogie amps. I wish I could afford a new one, but my used DC3 does the job. My initial concern when I saw the news yesterday was that I hope Gibson doesn't drop Boogie on its head like they did Cakewalk. Was Mesa Boogie in financial trouble? I know what the press release says, but that's always the glossy front a company spins to make everything look good. Anyway, I know this forum is more light-hearted and punny, but just wanted to share. I worked a bit for GC years ago at a store that carried Boogie. Boogie wouldn't allow discounts, no exceptions. They were the only vendor that did that. My dream is Boogie amps keep their unique quality and their prices go down, a lot. Shh, don't wake me up!
  22. AFAIK you'll just be assigning faders and pots with the learn features in CW. It's fairly universal so I'm sure you can use it as a controller in CW.
