    Thanks for the heads up.

I still don't buy stuff anymore, I come here for the community and free stuff.

Right now I just got an Apple dongle and omg... it is the best DAC ever in the universe, and I am enjoying music soooo much (only goes up to 48 kHz 24 bits, but if you believe in science that's all you need, I guess)
It's like stuff sound the way it's supposed to (and mixed/mastered).
My plan is to sell my ADI-2 DAC (RME) and get 100 of these (there are 2 versions, one US and another EU, US is the one to beat).
Keep my Motu M4 for recording stuff (Logic Pro allows me to use both devices at the same time).
Also, weird that they give enough signal to my HD820 headphones, which... ended up sounding just perfect probably/arguably, but only this dongle revelead that...

Also weird that... on Windows still sound is very bad. This dongle and my DAC sound louder for some reason, at the same time a little bit thinner and harsh...
I read somewhere that there are certain protocols within the system between Windows, Android and MacOS that makes it have this behavior, idk if there is a fix to that, so, again, I am sticking to Mac for the time being.

Can't wait to try it with speakers.

I know, random comment, but wanted to mention it to someone, lol (usual friends don't know about this sht).

Just typed this to leave for prosperity. 🎼

sounds like something I need to buy, but where do they sell it?

They are basically abandonware since 2015-17. Many known bugs will simply not go addressed and there's not going to be much support.

I used to recommend the SSL strip, but I stopped using it because the bugs got to me and I find the thing too unreliable to use for serious work. It works most of the time, but even if it fails only 1 out of 10 times, why expose myself and my sessions to that risk level.

Some of the bugs are hard to detect. For instance, one that made me lose confidence was a weird behavior in the SSL bus comp. Sometimes it would act/sound jittery out of nowhere, and you might miss spotting it in the song if you use it on an individual track or subgroup. So then I decided I'm not touching that comp again. So then why bother with the strip at all. Sad really, because otherwise it's a great strip if it worked as intended.

Having said all of that, the huge bundle for $50 is a fantastic deal, for the plugins that are not buggy and for as long as the thing continues to work under new OS releases.

Absolutely save your money for another deal. These are total junk. Most of these plugin are 10+ years old, and they weren't even particularly good back then.

(I had the "integral bundle" back in like 2007, and I have yet to experience worse buyer's remorse.)
