To record effects, they must be applied before the input.

This may be done by routing the track containing the effects chain to another track using a patch point or aux track and recording the track with the patch point as its input or the aux track.

Okay, so I have a dream. My dream is to record a phrase from a plugin (in this case vital) add it to matrix view, then apply effects in real time and record those effects. Is this possible? Please help my obtain my dream.
