  1. I do not recommend buying AudioDamage from Plugin Boutique.

I bought a 914 MK from Plugin Boutique but can't get the update. I can only download the previous version from Plugin Boutique.

Plugin Boutique was unable to contact AudioDamage.
I have been writing a letter to AudioDamage for a whole year, but still have not received a response.

AudioDamage is a developer who will never answer your queries.

64bit SF12 Pro does support 64bit VST2/3 3rd party plug-ins. I was very happy to pick it up in a Humble Bundle a few years ago, if only to retire my 32bit plug-ins completely. The scanner has issues with a few plug-ins.

I'm sorry, my mistake, there was a problem with the plugin.

If I didn't have version 15, I would immediately buy version 13 - this is a great offer.

But I wouldn't go back from version 15 to version 13.
I work with a lot of voice files. I used the manual mode with Volume and the batch-converter with Wave Hammer (comp + volume maximizer) for a single volume earlier. But some files still required editing. Now it's easier for me and fewer clicks.

Loudness Normalize mode appeared in version 15. This makes it good to have a single volume of each file-23 LUFS without separate edits later. I only compress the peaks and raise the volume to -14 LUFS via Wave Hammer. All this at once in one process in batch-converter.

    PS.

I will also add that version 12 is the latest version that can be installed on Windows XP (using NNN Changer). This may be important for those who still use the old, but necessary programs. Version 13 and higher require Windows 7.

Thanks dasmode. Just checked and it appears thatPro13 supports external vst fx (studio 10 does so suprised 12 pro did not)

SoundForge 12 Pro supports third party VST plugins, but only 32 bit. You may need to specify the path for scanning VST plugins in the settings.

By the way, no matter what country you are from, this is not a problem for payment. You get a serial number that you need to register in your Magix account (and it doesn't matter where you got it).

  4. The Humble bundle is a great deal. I got SoundForge 12 Pro and Vegas 16 Pro this way. Unfortunately SoundForge 12 Pro does not support third-party 64-bit plugins and I have not used it. But I got a good upgrade offer to SoundForge 15 Suite for $ 149.

    I got:

SoundForge 15 Suite (and many plugins including coreFX Suite)

    wizardFX Modern Reverb
    essentialFX Suite (11 high-quality effect plug-ins)
Analogue Modeling Suite (4 mastering plug-ins)
Vintage Effects Suite (3 vintage effects)
    VariVerb II (versatile reverb plug-in)
Vandal (virtual guitar & bass amps)

    iZotope Ozone 9 Elements
    iZotope RX 8 Elements
    Celemony Melodyne 5 essential
Steinberg SpectraLayers Pro 7 (and free upgrade to Pro 8)

Steinberg SpectraLayers Pro is a great plugin for removing noise, reverb and extraneous clicks that cannot be cut out by the built-in plugins.

There are also a zillion DX7 patches available for free on the net, all of which can be loaded into Dexed.  Too many, actually. Who has time to go through all of them?

    https://homepages.abdn.ac.uk/d.j.benson/pages/html/dx7.html

On the developer page you can download Dexed_cart_1.0.zip: https://asb2m10.github.io/dexed/

    Cartridge Manager

Any .syx file in the Cartridges directory will be available from the "CART" window. Find this directory by using the "CART" button and then the "SHOW DIR" button.

You can drag and drop any DX7 program from what is loaded in dexed and/or what you have loaded in the cartridge browser.

Double-clicking on a program will load the currently selected program in the plugin.

Use the context (right-click) menu to send the program/cartridge the DX7 or open your OS file browser from the directory context.

Hint: BlackWinny from kvraudio did a great DX7 compilation named Dexed_cart_1.0.zip. Simply unzip the content of this zipfile to your Cartridges directory.

  6. Dexed has always been free. You can download it without subscribing to mailing lists from the developer's website:

Является ли получение Reason Intro того стоит, как обновление vst от Lite? Я планирую использовать его в основном как VST в Cakewalk. за $ 125 CAD это действительно стоит такой цены? Он поставляется с большим количеством вещей, чтобы оправдать цену? Или это просто немного вещей здесь и там по сравнению с Lite.

    Here is a comparison:: https://www.reasonstudios.com/en/reason/comparison

    There are a few drawbacks.

    1. Upgrading from Intro to full versions costs the same as upgrading from Lite: $ 299 ($ 199 for sales)
    2. You will not be able to use many refill if they contain missing devices.
    3. There was a sale of 11 Intro for $ 49 half a year ago. But I returned the purchase because I did not use VST, and Lite had the same set of devices. Then I found at the market 10 Full for $ 100, and was happy.

The update happened automatically in my account. I guess I will have to go through the 600+ pages of manual of both versions and compare the content.

Are you talking about the difference between 11.3.1 and 11.2.1? At the top there is a picture.

I don't get it. Does 11.3.1 come only as a VST plugin? Can't you have both of them alongside, 11.2.1 as a DAW (as Intro like you said) and 11.2.1 only as a VST3 plugin?

I have Intro 10 installed but I see 11.2.1 ready to download in my Reason account. I thought it already has the VST plugin built-in.

Version 11.2.1 has many built-in devices, can work as a DAW, but cannot work as a VST plugin.
Version 11.3.1 has very few built-in devices and can work as a DAW and as a VST plugin.

If you install version 11.3.1, and then 11.2.1, then you will still have version 11.3.1. But there is an option:

    1) install 11.3.1.
    2) delete the Reason Lite 11 program folder (c: \ Program Files \ Propellerhead \ Reason Lite 11 \).
    3) install 11.2.1.

  10. This update Reason Lite 11 version 11.3.1, which comes for free with the M-Audio controllers.

Rack-plugin was added in update 11.3.1, but many built-in devices were removed. The previous version 11.2.1 had the same set of devices in standalone as Intro.

But you have a choice. You can use either version 11.2.1 as DAW (as Intro) or version 11.3.1 as rack-plugin. The serial number is suitable for all versions of the Lite 11.x.x line. You can download version 11.3.1 in your Reason Studios account, but there are direct links to the previous version 11.2.1:
