    Hi cclarry,

@Cédric Lawde, do you mind sharing what you were doing wrong?  You answer could help someone else down the road.

    Sure

The issue appeared when I use selection. I’ve selecting arranger sections without events - so no tracks or clips were selected when I do the export.

    I should either:
    1. Use the time ruler to do the selection, or;
    2. Enable "Select Events with Sections" and ensure the tracks/clips are showing as selected before you open the Export Audio dialog.

    • Thanks 1
  3. Hello,

    1. I’ve a request on the score view. It’s possible to add a double white note for writing on scores? A simple white is ok, unfortunately the longest note disponible (a white pointed note) is rather rare in use ...

    2. I’ve just seen the new bitwig DAW, I found that the multiple native LFO for control everything is a really good idea. Imagine the power of control, as the random life who comes with that !

    Thanks to developers

@Cédric Lawde This will be fixed in the next installer build, but you're seeing the 0 KB PC2A file because there was an issue with where the installer was packaging localized versions of the PC2A .dll files. If you run the installer again in English you should see a proper PC2A file.

Thank you very much ... I had made up my mind and considered having to reinstall my computer. This is good news !

This is literally as simple as bringing up the export to BandLab option and choosing to export a final mix or include the stems you want for accompaniment.
Then share the project with in BandLab to the vocalist and have them sing in the new track while listening to the comp.
When they save their version, it should appear as a revision automatically in the library view.
You can then open the main CWP project and import their revision into it and continue from there.

I just tested it by recording some blather on my phone and uploading it to my project with "Browse Bandlab Project"...
It works perfectly 😍 I just saved hours of handling ... thank you, thank you, thank you !!!

It should be completely fine and I do this often. Just use the BandLab app on Android or iOS and record there. Your project should automatically show up the next time you open the library view in CbB. Then either directly open the project or import the track into your current CbB project. You can also use BandLab like a cloud audio clipboard this way to share audio between different PC's or mobile devices. The integrated cloud support is a very powerful tool.

    it's starting to get interesting!

  7. I've some olds projects that i'v recorded at 44.1hz.

With my Behringer X32, i used to set the bitrate to 48hz. But when I load my old projects, I have to quit Cakewalk (it won't play the 44,1 file with 48hz by default) change the bitrate on the mix desk et re-open Cakewalk.
It's a waste of time. But, ok, it is some olds projects.

    But.

I forget to change the bitrate for new projects and, at some point, I realize that I have made good progress in a new project whose new plugins seem to be optimized for 48Hz. And that bothers me cause I'm in 44,1hz...

There is no way that Cakewalk can't read on the fly these audios waves with another bitrate ?

Been seeing this issue few times in the arranger view:

    1. Renaming a section (from within the  arranger sections tab, or from the section along the top of the prv) can cause the program to lock. After typing the new name you can't submit the new section name by pressing enter - it's ignored, but then you can't move the focus to elsewhere in the program as the area to enter the new name is modal. Only way out is to force close the app

Issue seems intermittent  - some times it works ok, sometimes not.

    Version 2020.09 (Build 006, 64 Bit)

    Windows 10

    Intel i7, 12 Mb Ram

    Same for me.

  9. So, I've delete these "_" before "Caches directory". Nothing different happens.
I've verify the "Always Open All Devices" parameter, it's uncheck. Unfortunately, nothing different happen. Again.

There are always about fifty files created before reading. I do not find the manipulation that forces to rewrite them? In any case, it certainly happens every time I load a new VST.

Take a look to my others preferences :
