  1. Thank you. I now see that in the 1st paragraph (as he slaps his forehead). Thanks again for all the help, yeto
  2. "I think you should select Standard Guitar KOSP" What is the difference between KOSP and VSOP? I have been working really hard with Sforzando and I am getting closer to the sound I am looking for. I appreciate all your help. I will post what I end up with once I find the right sound in hopes it will help someone else. It took me a while to understand that Sforzando is like my Les Paul "unpluged". I am now in the process of finding an amp sim that will mimic my Carvin 6l6gc/12ax7 tube amp. Again, thanks for all the help, yeto
  3. "To change the snap from centering the hot spot on the grid to starting at the grid line is a feature request (or a bug report depending on the devs point of view)." Has any of this changed with the new update?
  4. Ahhhhh...that makes a difference. I thought Unreal Instruments Standard Guitar would have built in effects. I guess I don't understand what Unreal Instruments Standard Guitar real purpose is? It seems overly complicated for what it does. yeto
  5. I have everything installed and I have read the Manual but I don't see how to add gain/distortion? Also, the up/down arrows next to Vibrato, Length, Release and Slides don't do anything. What am I missing? yeto
  6. Thank you. That helps. Thank you for taking time to help, yeto
  7. I downloaded "Unreal Instruments Standard Guitar" and I have extracted the file and I have the UI Standard Guitar folder listed under VST scan paths but Cakewalk is not seeing it. Could someone offer any help as to what I am doing incorrectly? https://www.plogue.com/products/sforzando-banks.html Thank you, yeto
  8. I watched a YouTube video that compared the two Sforzando guitar instruments to two Ample Sound instruments. The Sforzandos sounded just as good to me. I am going to download and try those two instruments later today. Thank you for sharing the link. yeto
  9. Thank you. Thank you. Looks like I have a lot of learning and work to do. The journey continues, yeto
  10. Thank you for taking time to answer my question. I am going to check out ampsims. If nothing else I will learn in the process. Thank you for having patience with my simple/amateur questions, yeto
  11. What would I look for in a synth that could pull double duty? Would I just go to a page like this and find something I think would work for me? https://www.kvraudio.com/plugins/windows/macosx/vst-plugins/vst3-plugins/audio-units/aax-plugins/rack-extensions/effects/free/most-popular Thank you, yeto
  12. Sorry for all the amateur questions. Would it be possible for me to combine on an instrument track (so I can use PRV) TTS-1 and TAL NoiseMaker? I am thinking I could start out with the guitar presets in TTS-1 and then modify those sounds with TAL Noisemaker to get any guitar sound I wanted. Would this have a chance of working? Also, if this could work would there be a better synth versus TAL NoiseMaker to accomplish this? I am trying to emulate my own equipment (Les Paul Custom guitar and a Carvin 6L6gc/12ax7 tube amp). http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?plugin=TAL-NoiseMaker&id=1504 Thank you in advance for any help, yeto
  13. The samples on this page are the sounds I am looking for. Will Cakewalk's PRV work with this instrument? Also, would anyone know of a comparable product that wouldn't be as expensive as I can't afford this one at this time? https://www.amplesound.net/en/pro-pd.asp?id=1 Thank you for all your help...I am learning a lot, yeto
  14. Thank you. This is helpful. The Black Rooster stuff sounds really good.
  15. Yes, not playing guitar. I need to be able to enter notes in PRV.
  16. Okay, I have the above done so far but I don't see how to enter notes in PRV??? Thank you for taking time out of your day to try and help, yeto
  17. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. This is the file that worked: VST Directory: C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins Thank you for taking time out of your day to help, yeto
  18. Thank you. That worked for Ample Sound but not for Spicy Guitar. Will Cakewalk not recognize Spicy Guitar because it is (x86)? Also, could you share your thoughts on Native Instruments KOMPLETE START free download? Thank you for helping, yeto
  19. Hi, I downloaded: Ample Sound http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?plugin=Ample_Guitar_M_Lite_II&id=2233 and Spicy Guitar http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?plugin=Spicy_Guitar&id=1065 but Cakewalk is not finding them. Could someone share as to what I might be doing wrong? Thank you in advance for any help, yeto
  20. Thank you for helping. I think this is going to be over my head. I am going to look for something simpler. I am glad I asked about this as I have learned a lot from your response. Kind regards, yeto
  21. Hi, I downloaded this software but I can't figure out how to use it. Can someone point me in the right direction? I want to enter some notes in PRV and then have them sound like they are coming out of a Mesa Boogie guitar amp. Also, if anyone would know of a virtual instrument that sounds like a Les Paul/Mesa Boogie combination that might would be easier. As you can tell from my questions I am still learning. https://www.ownhammer.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=181&products_id=411 Thank you in advance for any help, yeto
  22. Thank you. I updated to build 70.
  23. I just updated to 2019.09 (Build 60, 64 bit). Is there a later update available? Thank you, yeto
