Um, I was told there wasn't going to be any math. .

as we are all playing the guessing game - I'm gonna say some kind of convoluted sale type of thing Probably something totally poor like "4 rooms of massive savings" - 5% off midipacks (assuming you serial numbers are still valid)

Yep, mibby, didn’t think it would work. I had a $2.13 account credit from prior purchases and a so-called $10 promo ecertificate they sent me out of the blue, bringing my total due to $1.81 but, heck, I was actually most surprised to see actual and instant delivery of PreQursor2 instead of the original one. I said it and I’ll say it again. Lars is a legend. Hail to the King.

You are my new hero Fleer. A $1.81 deal AND you actually got something from MF!

And take the serial you’ll get by email to your IK-account. Or even better, put it aside and wait for the next group buy.

And it looks like you can use the same "A" code ad nauseam! I just completed multiple orders using the same code

Looks like the limit on the "A" vouchers has been removed.

T&S just sent me replacement serials all of which seem to work. I won't hang around with them though and will choose 5 that I want over the next couple of days.

The 2445 is an excellent reverb. One of the best out there for sure. And it's so easy to use. It's worth the asking price of $149. Would I pay that? No. And I didn't. I got it on sale!! I think it was the intro sale. I highly recommend the Spring Box if it comes on sale. That is one really sweet spring verb. I might get this.

When working with audio take lanes, especially when the number of lanes grows large (e.g. when tracking a lead vocal, I will often do 6-12 takes, allowing for comping doubles from the same pool of takes as the main vocal, often while still learning a new song), it can become important to zoom in on the vertical scale of each take (see attached screen shot). This allows more clearly seeing where good cut points for comping may be (e.g. vocal phrase boundaries, areas with similar volume and phrasing, clear breaks between words, etc.). Currently, there are two issues that impact the usability of the existing ability to Ctrl-drag-up/down to zoom in on the scale: 1) As best I've been able to determine, there is no way to do the same zooming on multiple take lanes within a track at the same time. Thus, it is necessary to do the same zooming on each lane individually. Since the goal is generally to have the scale on all lanes be identical (i.e. to be able to compare "apples to apples" in visual examinations for cut points), the best one can do is watch where the scale numbers (circled in one lane of the screen shot) end up to try and get them to be the same. However, this can be challenging, especially with lots of takes as the numbers can be very small and are sometimes covered up by the mouse. And, of course, it takes N times the effort where N is the number of takes (i.e. compared to being able to do it once for all takes within a track or for selected takes, where N is the number of lanes selected). 2) The most recent setting does not persist across project saves, closes, and re-opens. Thus, if your comping session has to span more than one Cakewalk project session (a very common thing for me), you have to make the scale changes all over again in any subsequent sessions. This can happen not only intentionally (e.g. closing things up at the end of a night, then opening the project fresh the next day), but also unintentionally (e.g. when Cakewalk crashes or hangs). My feature suggestion is thus two-fold: 1) Provide a way to scale all take lanes within a track, or at least all selected takes, with one operation. This could either be the default for zooming on the audio scale within a track or via a different modifier key from zooming on a single lane. Bonus points: Allow doing the same for all take lanes of selected tracks. (This would be useful when comping multiple background vocal tracks where each harmony part has its own track, but it might be useful to be comping those in parallel for a song section.) 2) Make the most recently used settings for any given track(s) persistent across project saves and re-opens. While my main concern here is for comping audio, these changes might also be useful for MIDI. (#1 may be more questionable, though, as playing different notes on different takes may make the optimal scale needed for each lane different, and any clear phrase boundaries are likely to be most evident by having all vertical notes within a given take as zoomed in as possible to contain all those notes. This may argue for being able to continue using the current method in addition to the suggested additional method. #2 would still be useful for MIDI in all cases, though.)

I don't think it's necessary to go quite that far. I imagine they are in a bit of a tough spot depending on what exactly happened. Could they have done things differently? Yes they could have, but they did fix my issue. Hopefully they didn't loose too much money over all of this. Since businesses don't pay for theft--their customers do. While this will factor into my buying things from Time&Space, this won't totally shut them out. The best deal always has a few factors more than just price involved.

fwiw - I picked up EMT2445 for $29 at audiodeluxe last year - with an extra 10% voucher code. So it's not impossible that they will drop it into this sale.

I can't say I dislike it, as I've never eaten there, but I don't love it either. I don't eat at fast food places. Life is too short to eat mediocre food. I think the last time I ate fast food it was Burger King, and it was probably over 35 years ago. When I eat out, I want the food cooked fresh, with good ingredients, the way I like it, and served to me at my table. I guess that puts me in the weirdo minority, but I've been strange and not like the others since I was a kid. I guess that's why I'm happy being a career musician. Notes

I did have an already used one issued by pluginboutique a few months ago - wonder if a stack of them leaked ? They were totally fine and just issued an immediate replacement. Just thought it odd at the time. It would be so easy for Toontrack to track and block them ? More likely they don't want to get involved with anything legal.

Wow, this isn't good business for T&S. At the first sign of this, they should've fixed the problem instead of waiting for customers to contact them. Something's not right in Denmark...

If I’m right there are 10 plugins left at $69 list, so if another18 $20-deals are to be expected, eight of them will be of even higher value. Here’s still hoping for some real scorchers like E27, FETpresser, EMT 2445 or VintageWarmer2.

The installers always update the factory supplied templates but only in the default folder location. It has been this way for a long time (well before CbB). So... Either do not modify the factory supplied templates (IOW try to create template names that Cakewalk will never use) or use a custom location. I do the latter and have never lost a template regardless of the names used. While basic.cwt is the factory default, any project template may be designated as the default by clicking on the star in the upper left of the template image in the Start Screen or selecting the template and clicking the Set as Default Template button in the New Project dialog.
