Use Bandlab Assistant to access.
Fixes an issue created with last update in Mix Recall**.

Looks like the What's New doc has not been (yet) updated for this release.

**This assumption is based on an announcement I saw yesterday by Jesse Jost that the previous update had broken Mix Recall and that a fix would be posted today.
The currently posted What's New is the same as the previous post.

BandLab Assistant was available for an update during the Cakewalk update.

I was unable to update  BandLab Assistant using the  update button as that failed, I had to update it manually.

Good Luck

How do you update the program?  Bandlab Assistant was updated ... today.  When prompted for password, it reports 'Authorization Error'.   If I click 'forgot password', I log into my webpage, as if my password was somehow valid.  While logged in, I can successfully change my password, but Bandlab Assistant still says "Authorization Error' with the new password.   Huh?

What am I missing?

We don't generally update "What's New" for hot-fixes, but we should, so I did.

Direct method
https://www.bandlab.com/products/desktop/assistant#download

Theoretical method
Clicking 'Update' should start the download/install process in the background:

Memory method
If you don't have direct link ready and BA doesn't work, just remember the word "download" and append it to the bandlab.com URL like so:
https://www.bandlab.com/download  ...then click the "Desktop Assistant" download button and follow any on-screen direction.

If you make it simple how are we suppose to screw it up?

(but really  - thanks for your help and making things more transparent and easier)

Bandlab assistant will NOT let me log-in, authorization error.  However, if I do the Facebook login, I could actually get in and update the app.  Weird.

Sorry to hear that - I assume you're using the same sign-in as you use for this forum, yes?

If so, your best bet (as with BandLab-based auth issues in general) is to contact support@bandlab.com
