strange ... the thing is that we didn't seen a lot of dev from Fabrice since a while , wonder if something going on in with Slate .... maybe they're just working on all plugins to be outside the rack ....

IDK...but the Slate guys are REAL happy about it because they've been
beating up on Slate for a Pulteq...

I could use an awesome pultec, but the softube ones I use aren't too bad.  Hopefully Slate doesn't overpromise, overmarket, overhype, and then we all wait a year.

Aren't too bad? So I shouldn't waste 99 bucks buying them? Should I just stick with Ik's or Waves'?

In my experience pultecs are hard to judge, are very subjective to the ear. I have both s oftube and waves and would use them in that order.

I also had acustica purple, thought it quite good, until it started not playing nicely with other plugins in my daw.

Would be nice if they fixed some bugs in other plugins first. SSD5 has a bug in Reaper around dragging midi items. It’s been months and still no fix, but of course it’s always “coming soon!”
