copy and paste

It happens more and more often that after I select some clips and  try to copy and paste them in another section this attempt doesn't work.

I have to get out of the project and after getting  back  I'll do copy and paste again and that's fine.

Next time it happens, capture video so we can see what's selected and what's focused and use Copy Special and Paste Special (Ctrl+Alt+C/V) so we can see options.

Agree. Just got a new PC, Windows 11, Ultra 9 285, GeForce RTX 8GB, 2TB SSD, 64GB DDR5.
