Pat Osterday Posted Tuesday at 11:55 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:55 AM Passed getting this last big sale - maybe it was $49? Still kicking myself for that!

Like all their stuff, it's pretty good! And yes, I know I grabbed it for $49 with Audio Blast's Blast Delay for free so it definitely was at some stage. That makes the $29 upgrade price seem expensive, but all things considered, still a great price for the new version combined with the old price!

On the flip side, at least it's not going anywhere! (Cough, cough... IK MixBox.) 2

CSistine Posted Tuesday at 04:01 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:01 PM (edited) In their email they write: "... (this is the first paid upgrade in our 5-year product history) ..." This is definitely not true, because they did this before (paid update) with BussPressor, also with some other plugins that they just renamed to "xxx2" or "xxx3". And IMHO their upgrade prices are quite steep compared to the changes and/or the initial price. By the way, BussPressor: I reported an issue with the old BussPressor (crash if you want to enter a direct value) and I never heard anything about it. Then about 2 years later they issued the "new" BussPressor that has almost no improvements (but an ugly view) for a steep upgrade price, but this bug is fixed, I guess. The quoted text is referring to the releases of InifiniStrip not the history of company which has been around since March 2000. Edited Tuesday at 08:37 PM by TheSteven 1 1 1
TheSteven Posted Tuesday at 09:02 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:02 PM If the upgrade price was $19 it would be a no brainer for me, at $29 I hesitate. At $6 per module (5 new modules) it's not a terrible deal but the price doesn't hit the right price point with my BF afflicted wallet. 4
Fleer Posted Tuesday at 09:22 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:22 PM Yep, what with the vst3 crashes in Bitwig, I would hope this upgrade would still be free. Just look at Pigments 7. 1
