In event list scrolls back to start at end of last note -how to stop that. (the sequence doesn't, just the event list.)

that's it. I want to work on the last few notes of what I just recorded and as soon as the last note sounds it goes flying back to the beginning of the notes on the event list. Confirming again, the song isn't returning to the beginning, just the track I am working on goes back to 0 timeline.

I use Event List all the time for precise editing.

I just tested song in my CbB. Song has 77 measures. I started playing from measure 71 (just to make it quick test). I have Staff View and Event List open. As soon as song ends both Staff View and Event List jump back to measure 71.

Try to play from 2-4 measures before your last notes that  you want to edit so those notes will be visible in the Event List.

I also use the Event List with some regularity and just noticed the "jump back" behavior occurring recently as well; seems to be a new issue. Using Page-Down shortcut to go to the next measure after the end of of MIDI will also cause the Event List to jump back to 1:01:000.

I think jumping back to the start of playback in both the Event List and Staff view is more likely due to having On Stop Rewind enabled.

Yes, I had it checked (highlighted in blue in the screenshot). After unchecking that option song stops at the end.
