TheSteven Posted yesterday at 12:03 AM Posted yesterday at 12:03 AM (edited) Can't say that I've ever needed to convert between tuning standards (A440, A432, etc.) or likely to at this point, but nice to know a tool is there if the need arises. Edited yesterday at 12:03 AM by TheSteven

Me neither! But it's a topic that seems to have a lot of believers and advocates (as well as plenty of critics!) but I have read interviews about engineers being asked to perform the function for customers at times. 1

I can believe it. If you're a staff engineer in a studio you run into a lot of 'different' people. When I was an engineer I came in to do a session one day and all the windows into the studio were covered up. The studio manager explained to me that they had a session earlier with a woman who could only sing her best while nude. I neither saw the woman (clothed or not) nor heard her music so I can't comment on the results. Edited yesterday at 12:27 AM by TheSteven 2

If they aren't too bad and can be accommodated, then why not I suppose. Especially if it makes the artist, or producer feel their best, or that the result is better.

I didn't know that, but if it's the one I'm thinking of and I'm certain it is, then I'm definitely not surprised! 1
