Can't say that I've ever needed to convert between tuning standards (A440, A432, etc.) or likely to at this point, but nice to know a tool is there if the need arises.

Me neither! But it's a topic that seems to have a lot of believers and advocates (as well as plenty of critics!) but I have read interviews about engineers being asked to perform the function for customers at times.

I can believe it.  If you're a staff engineer in a studio you run into a lot of 'different' people.
When I was an engineer I came in to do a session one day and all the windows into the studio were covered up. The studio manager explained to me that they had a session earlier with a woman who could only sing her best while nude.   I neither saw the woman (clothed or not) nor heard her music so I can't comment on the results.

Whatever works I guess 😂  I have heard some pretty funny and bizarre stories about requests like that. If they aren't too bad and can be accommodated, then why not I suppose.  Especially if it makes the artist, or producer feel their best, or that the result is better.

There is also a DAW (my favourite, begins with R...) that supports the Rubber Band tuning algorithm!

I didn't know that, but if it's the one I'm thinking of and I'm certain it is, then I'm definitely not surprised!
