jude77 Posted Wednesday at 03:45 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:45 PM I'm always fascinated by the various "smart" (i.e. AI) plugins. As computers get faster, and as we wait for quantum computing to be available commercially, I realize that more than ever a plugin is only limited by a programmer's imagination. It makes me wonder what the future holds. 1
e-cue Posted Wednesday at 05:55 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:55 PM Download is now working. I'm a fan of there line. They are time savers with the flexibility to correct things with a human perspective if you want to. The area I usually have the adjust for most with them: low end 1

I never use them, I achieve much more with traditional stuff in my mixes (e.g. Dangerous BAX EQ of Plugin Alliance). But YMMV! 1

I generally don't either. Sometimes I might for a second opinion / check, but you don't need to use any of the smart features in Sonible's products. And even if you do for an initial starting point, you can tweak every single setting in a lot of detail in their smart series. And some of their smart series are actually just good products on their own merit with no use of AI anyway. I wouldn't write them off because they include it. Edited 22 hours ago by MusicMan 3 1
Joakim Lundberg Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago The main selling point for me is tje spectral compression, I and I use it for sidechaining in almost every mix. It only ducks the prominent frequencies of the sidechained signal. 1
