Since they discontinued selling Mixbox and Sunset addon, I wish they could bless mixbox owners (those without sunset reverbs) with Sunset Reverbs by gifting it to their accounts but that is just a hopeful thinking. ^^

That was a REALLY disappointing decision by IK. They've done that with a few products lately that make me question buying more stuff from them. Not that there's a lot to buy.. I have almost all of it πŸ˜‚

Oh man, me too. I didn't realize how much I was going to like it when I picked it up in the previous IK HB. The way you can combine components from whatever models you happen to have is crazy. The controls for string age, picking style, pickup position, active vs. passive electronics, it's possible to put together just what I want.

I had underestimated both of the MODO instruments. MODO Drums is a similar laboratory for drum sounds. The ability to combine different kit pieces to assemble what you want is brilliant. Like most drummers, I'm picky about my snare sound.

Same! I was pleasantly surprised by both MODO Drum and MODO Bass. I hadn't expected them to sound as good as they do.

Look at the disk space used by Modo Bass.Β  So unlike developers these days,

Hoping for more physical modeling. There is a company out there famous for it. I never remember the name.Β

Sampletank was also like my second rompler.Β  It was a poor man's Gigastudio but unfortunately those sounded like you get what you pay for.Β  Some were done by a 3rd party developer - Sonic Reality.Β  I still have his refills.

It didn't take long for IK to ditch the iLok.Β  Their licensing is generous.
