Thinking about a 2nd license.  I like this one.

I'm trying not to think about it...  🤣

Its older, but still seems like a great deal for a well regarded library.

The DAW myth.  I read some members on VI Control still use this.  Someone here said they use it more than the bloated HO.  The biggest concern is the space needed for Hollywood Orchestra.

How much stuff from Waves is older like Maxx plugins but people still use them.

Age is overrated.  I'm was watching a thread about a new bloated library people were gushing over.  Never mind that unique library eats up over 300gb of space.

Completely agreed on age. My only concern with older stuff like that is support and ongoing compatibility. I still love some of my older plugins and instruments and will continue to use them for as long as I can.

And yeah some of the space requirements for some of the orchestral libraries is pretty insane (BBC Pro, HOOPUS, etc).

It would've been OK if SSD prices had kept going down and sizes going up, but that transition seems very slow more recently, so it is a very valid consideration.

I wouldn't worry about it. EW does not consider it a legacy product.

Funny I was almost tempted to buy not a SSD but a 6TB WD Black.  I thought I could move some of the hoard off a SSD on to it and move it back when needed.  I've removed over 200GB of Kontakt libraries which were free ones.   I have not download all of Komplete U either.

It looks like all the bundles are at the lowest ever prices. The Symphonic Choirs Platinum Plus Bundle with VOTA is at the same price:

I have very few Synphonic Libraries and my best option at the moment is the Vienna Special Edition Volume 1 that I got for $150 aprox. some years ago. I can get the EW Orchestra and Choirs for less now!

With those and the Voices of Passion library that I got for free from Plugin Boutique the other day I think my Orchestral libraries have taken a Quantum Leap 😉

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. I had thought it would've been considered as legacy by them. That's much better if that's the case.

Until I had my larger SSD drives, I had to run some of my libraries on an external HDD and even that was fine for a lot of them. I prefer SSD and some libraries you really notice it, but for many others it's fine.
