Now a deal.. Native Instruments - Absynth 6

Quote

Weird by design
Absynth 6 marks the return of a legendary semi-modular synthesizer. Built for textures that transform and breathe, it invites you to shape sounds that are entirely your own. Deep enough for complex sound design, and intuitive enough for newcomers, it opens up distinctive, living sounds for cinematic cues, ambient soundscapes, and electronic productions.

$199.00

Couple more days!  If the upgrade price is reasonable, I'll probably snag it, otherwise guess I'll upgrade my Komplete 13 to 16 at some point. 🤪

I have been holding off on my Komplete upgrades, but if the next one has a new version of Kontakt and Absynth 6 then that might just be the motivation I need 🤣

It sounds good, but I'll wait until it's rolled-up into Komplete 16 given that the update price is nearly half of what I pay for *everything* in KUCE.

Completely agreed locrian.

I'm not entirely surprised by the price, but the upgrades (as long as they persist and pricing remains similar!) make more sense to me too.

Looks great, but will wait until K16 also.  There are ongoing issues with Native Access for Mac users who install libraries to external drive so staying clear of NA for now.

NI has ran great for a number of years for me and really happy with their eco system, it's only when I manually move files have I ever had a problem with NI so staying well clear until their automated processes work without manual intervention.  I doubt Absynth is affected so don't want to put anyone off, but some of the current Komplete library is - just as a warning to anyone who may go in and decide to install any additional libraries when they see there's been updates elsewhere.

Thats strange, on Mac here and running KUCE15 from external drive with no problem whatsoever.

The only problem i have with Native Access is with their new Accessibility tool that messed up my Kontrol Keyboard completely, uninstalling the thing solved the problem.

It's when you install new libraries where they can fail,  I'm running Komplete fine too but not going anywhere near Native Access until NI says it's all sorted.
