can i uninstall cakewalk by bandlab if I already installed   bandlab sonar free version.

I just use Sonar version now but nervous to uninstall the cakewalk.

It really depends on your specific situation.

Only uninstall Cakewalk By Bandlab when you can confirm that none of your projects that you are likely to open contains any plugins that come with Cakewalk By Bandlab but not with Sonar.

If you have used, and/or think you will use, TTS-1, removing Cakewalk By Bandlab runs the risk of removing TTS-1.  The latest installer for Cakewalk By Bandlab did not contain TTS-1 (at Roland’s request).

If you already had TTS-1 from an installation of a previous version than Cakewalk By Bandlab (Sonar Platinum for example) , then removing Cakewalk By Bandlab should not remove TTS-1.

If you do uninstall Cakewalk By Bandlab, the suggestion is to reinstall Sonar 2025.

If you are not sure whether you will be affected by the removal of Cakewalk By Bandlab, then simply leave it installed.  It only takes around 250 megabytes in the program files folder.
