HI guys,

I hope someone can help me here.

I would really like to use my Audiofront MIDI expression pedal controller with a Wah VST in Sonar, but I just cannot seem to get it to work.  I'm able to assign the pedal to parameters in Sonar such as track Volume or Pan, and I'm able to assign it to parameters within a VST instrument such as Kontakt. But cannot for the life of me figure out how to assign it to a VST FX. I've tried using a Nembrini Wah and Blue Cat Miaow Wah in the FX rack of a wav track, but I'm not able to get the pedals moving.  Has anyone had any luck doing this in Sonar?  I've tried watching the Audiofront videos, but they only use Cubase, and I cannot find any Videos online with a solution.

Much appreciate any help.

Cheers

What is the process you are using unsuccessfully, step by step? This may help us help you figure out what's missing from your recipe. :)

This is setting up a yamaha FC-7 foot controller connected to a PCR800 to control the WAH effect in IKI Multimedia's Amplitube 5 Max.

As long as your foot controller generates CC events, the principle should be the same.

Of course the WAH plugin you use needs to support MIDI learn.
