Xoo Posted Wednesday at 01:33 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:33 PM Cool - thanks. Do I need more reverbs though..?

Welcome Xoo and you probably don't.. but I do really like some of these! If I didn't already own them, I'd be grabbing it! Reverbs and delays in many ways have such unique character that I don't mind having lots of options.. definitely not needed though.. Haha..Β
Xoo Posted Wednesday at 02:12 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:12 PM (edited) I've got a bunch already, from the free (eg. Sonitus/Core) to paid for (eg. NomadFactory 80s Spaces, Xenoverb) and although I like them, I've yet to find one that I really like when i use it (I love the demos and then go a bit "meh" when I have it).Β I also get annoyed by the fact that the output levels vary *so* much so comparisons become tedious. I have their Magic 7 and that's quite nice.Β For Β£19 though, this is a bargain. Edited Wednesday at 02:13 PM by Xoo

I would say that these are a step above all the ones you mentioned, so hopefully you would like them Out of curiosity, what don't you like about the ones you have tried so far? Are you looking for more obvious and colored, or more transparent? I have heard a number of producers say they don't like them in general and they just use delays instead to get some of the benefits verbs would add. Often it depends on what types of instruments / sounds you're using them on too. Drums for example I find I don't like some of my more preferred reverbs for other things on. Sometimes they also need some treatment (EQ, ducking, etc.) Although they're expensive, I do really like the Relab and Liquidsonics reverbs as well.
Marc Cormier Posted Wednesday at 02:53 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:53 PM Seventh Heaven is $49 this week and is one of my faves. Β The full version is pricey but the base version is fantastic for what it provides. 1
Xoo Posted Wednesday at 11:09 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:09 PM Re. Radiance - is anyone else finding that the rotary controls don't work in the Onyx scheme (you can only change their values by using the numbers)?Β Pearl theme works fine.
