Matthew Sorrels
This is my main keyboard. I'm pretty sure I paid more than $100 for it. It's definitely a good deal for the money. The motorized faders work in pretty much everything. Though to get it to work in Cakewalk you have to use a version of the Mackie control DLL that lets you turn off the handshake (search the forums, it's available). I actually have built my own custom version of the Cakewalk Mackie Control DLL just for it, the idea being I'd customize it specifically for the Motor61. But I haven't made much progress on it and that was more than a year ago. I'm using it, but my dream of a ton of Motor61 features has kind of fallen off. They have updated the firmware a few times. Make sure you are current. The keys are better than most low end keyboards, they have some weight/heft. But they are also still cheap. So it's a mixed bag there. If you are a pro player I suspect you won't be impressed. For me though it feels better than anything I've tried at Guitar Center. 1
