Custom Automation Default List

Hi,

Is there a way to change this default automation list? If not, it could be a nice add-on in a future update to speed up the work.

What specifically are you trying to achieve?

What exactly do you want to be different about the list? 

What specific work are you trying to speed up?

 

Knowing all of those things would help us to help you find a solution, or for the bakers to implement your request. 

Not knowing them leaves just a very general request that can't really be done, because no one but you knows what needs to be done....

I often need to add automation to tracks, but except for volume and expression, I don’t need the other ones. Instead, I mostly need CC2, CC8, and CC1, so I have to click MIDI at the bottom of the menu and then type the number I need. If I could edit this default list, I could add CC2, CC8, and CC1 to speed up my work.

Perhaps this will help... You can define up to four CCs.

 

I think, that is exactly what you want...

However, it's project-specific (unfortunately not global, as you would like) and must be configured individually for each project.

If you're using different (split) MIDI tracks, you can easily select the required track in SynthRack. The additional MIDI CCs will then be found there.

Personally, I just use the PRV controller lanes. You can set the names for each controller number that appear there.   

Beside, I find CCs much easier to edit than automation.
