Skelm is indeed correct! I have experienced similar problems a few times, but not so often that I have managed to see any systematicity in the behavior. But I recognize the symptoms! The project does not open until I click away the suddenly recurring quick start window. So, some kind of bug still hides in the code! Not big, not frequent, but nevertheless...

And I have to add that this behaviour probably started last update!

To the OP.

following your chronology of installation an observation.

Could you have installed platinum after more recent versions. If so this would likely have overwritten newer files with old versions which could explain your problems. Just a thought.

It happens in all projects, but only for the first project opened after launching Sonar. Exact steps:

1) Launch Sonar (quick start menu must be enabled in previous session), and from the quick start menu, choose browse. 

2) Browse to any project and open it. 

3) The quick start screen displays again, and needs to be dismissed before the project will continue opening. 

 

Opening projects after the first one works normally again.
