I recently upgraded to Ivory 3 and, at my interface's lowest buffer size (32 samples), it's totally distorted in Sonar. This isn't an issue in my other DAWs (Studio One 7 and Cubase 14).  Anyone know of settings other than buffer size that might be contributing to this (I'd prefer to retain the lowest possible latency)?

I have a lot of pianos but not Ivory. The first order of business woul be to determine whether the problem is related to processing or to streaming samples from disk. What are you seeing in Sonar's Performance meter? Does it show high load across the board, spiking only one or a few cores with a lot Late Buffers or is the disk icon flashing red?

Have you done any tweaks to Sonar's Config File (AUD.INI)? If so, you might try Resetting it to see if it runs better with the default setup.

Thanks for the suggestions, David. The performance meter freaks out with it instantiated: multiple cores jumping up and down, occasionally going into the red. I'm not sure what Late Buffers are, but I don't see the disk icon flashing red.

If I customized the AUD.INI file, it would have been years ago, but I'll check. Thanks!
