anotherRobert2025 Posted Tuesday at 06:15 AM Posted Tuesday at 06:15 AM I am running windows 11 on an x64 PC. I have a problem with staff view. I just installed the new bandlab sonar, opening the staff view crashes Sonar. The 12MB dump files are too big to attach and I'm not sure anyone here would be able to look at them. Today: I uninstalled the old Cakewalk by Bandlab. I installed cakewalk's music creator 6 touch I bought years ago. It too crashed on staff view, a problem fixed by starting as admin and setting scaling to be managed by the application. Staff view doesn't crash but it still doesn't work. I get a blank area where the staff should be. The buttons and toolbars are all there and clickable, but nothing happens. I also have installed a very old cakewalk pro 9. This also has a blank staff view. This seems to be a very old problem and may be related to fonts. I found this: http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/378021 I don't have a font manager installed how many fonts is too many? I cannot remove or rename symbol.ttf since it is a protected system font. Does anyone have this part of the software working?
Bass Guitar Posted Tuesday at 03:10 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:10 PM You mistake might have been uninstalling Cakewalk before you installed the new version.

Wookiee Posted Tuesday at 05:44 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:44 PM Staff view works fine here use it all the time. As noted by @Bass Guitar you may have done damage uninstalling CbB. The foot print of the actual program is so small it really doesn't donany harm tomleave it behind. Did you, @anotherRobert2025, do a custom uninstall if not you probably broke the Cakewalk directory tree. 1
