Your Black Friday Goody List!!

A bunch of sample libraries I'd been eyeing for some months
Upgraded to UJAM Phat 2 for $9
Soundiron's "Micro" choirs (Mercury and Olympus)
Upgraded "Shreddage" to "Shreddage 3 Legacy" for $40

And finally, a copy of Traktor 3 Pro (just for my own entertainment, not as a DJ - heck, I'm not even a musician)

Also, a bunch of freebies.

Thanks to Larry for spotting most of these deals, as always.

AAS Ultra Analog VA-3 upgrade $35 taters. Might...might get an EastWest TriplePlay midi pack. Since they were extended through December a ReMatrix expansion pack. Not much at all. Still more than I needed.

I reckon I've got most of the major food groups covered.

I knew I was old the day I was excited to get a trash can where the lid came down slowly.

What's that?  You'll have to speak into the earhorn, sonny!

Even worse, I got an LADWP rebate for $75 per thermostat (limit 2), so I got them at less than $50 each, and now I can control my a/c without having to leave the Raven.  Now if I could just program a macro for it...

Big BF for me:

• Neural DSP Plini, Nolly and Abasi (thanks Zo!)

• Melodyne Essential and Assistant
• Nembrini MRH810

• Soundtoys bundle (upgrade)
• Rigid Audio Limerence
• Synthmaster Player + some expansions

• Some OddGrooves drum loops

• iZotope Ozone 8 Standard

• iZotope Total Balance Bundle

• Scaler

Probably a couple of others too. Plus a new guitar and a new computer on the way. My i5 3570k is starting to show its age.

These plugins are ones many other people would already have but I didn’t. Actually it was painful typing that out and thinking of how much money would be tied up in this!

I picked up The Grandeur which I am really enjoying.

Lots of really good stuff out there but trying to sort through everything I already have before buying anything else; it can just get a little overwhelming at times ?

I am finally getting my new computer parts coming so excited about that and finally working through BBC SO.

Somehow I managed to stay on plan.

  • 6 Chromaphone libraries for $50
  • 3 EZ Key libraries for ~$8 each
  • Dream Machines expansion.
  • 4 Ugritone MIDI packs (Rock, Grunge, NWOBHM, and Heartland)

I was considering jumping on the TC Electronic 2 pedals for $75 deal,  but missed it.

My BF stuff -

1. Abasi + Nameless (Thanks Zo! Really this is a must have)

2. iZotope Tonal Balance Bundle (this completely drained my wallet)

3. Wavesfactory Cassette (absolutely brilliant!)

4. DDMF Chord Detector (what a great little utility for just 9$, wonder why haven't they made an Android/iOS version yet)

5. Mercurial AMT (Have high hopes on this, yet to use this one)

What I couldn't get -

That's a huge list but the key ones out of those which were on my scanner -

1. Acoustic Samples bundle on APD (feel that shouldn't have missed this)

2. EZKeys Dream Machine

3. Flux Session

4. NeuralDSP Plini & Nolly

5. STL Andy James & Libra

6. Plug & Mix (which I miss everytime)

7. UJam Stuff

8. Captain Plugins

9. Xhun Bundle

10. Eventide stuff on AD, you, which were on massive discounts

11. PSP Nexcellence and Hertz Rider

12. The most important.... PA discount coupon of $50 :P

The only Black Friday purchase I made was a copy of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. Video games: the anti-productivity marvel. I actually resented having to put the game on hold for Sunday's band rehearsal.

That's why I gave up gaming. Still call myself a gamer, I just don't allow myself to play any!!

I just get sucked up into a game and that's all I do!!

I didn't get a whole lot and primarily was looking for quality rather than quantity.

Ended up getting Output's Analog Strings and Mercuriall's SS-11X.

Forgot I also got Embertone's Blakus and Samples from Mars Bundle.

I didn't get a whole lot either. But I had grabbed that SS-11X a few months back during a sale.  Really like that sim a lot. It really has a good clean sound. Nice and warm.

Which one?

I haven't decided between ReLive and Imagined Spaces. I already have Paterno.  I didnt hear about the TC pedal 2 for $75. That would have been hard to stay away from. I love their pedals. You and Grem should like the Toontrack Dream Machine. I really like it. and the Dream Pop EZX.

If anyone has a recommendation on ReMatrix expansions I would love to hear it. The Paterno is a good mix of in studio verbs.
