ZincT Posted November 6 Posted November 6 https://www.arturia.com/promos/black-friday-25 Login to see your offer. Mine is $99 for V Collection 11 (I'm on VC 8). 4
Canopus Posted November 6 Posted November 6 My upgrade price to V Collection 11 from VC 9 is €99, so I'll wait a few more years. Also, I got an error on that page when using Firefox, saying "_500 Can't access property 'length', E is undefined". Oh, okay. So I had to go through Chrome to find that offer. 1 1

Yeah, it took me a few goes before I could even login. Maybe the site is under load? IDK

MusicMan Posted November 7 Posted November 7 $99 update from X for me... Easy pass. Diminishing returns and it would just be chasing my tail to stay current. 2

Decided early on I'd skip the Arturia BF sale this year. Even though I'm skipping, I'm disappointed that they didn't get FX6 out before BF and my upgrade to FX5 is $99 but was $49 last BF sale. 1

It's really a guessing game as to who pays what! I find with a lot of these companies, they really only offer new users the best deals. So instead of paying each year / version, you're often better off ignoring their existing customer offers and buy from a completely different company offering new customer discounts. The biggest bang for buck is almost always in the initial bundle, so instead of getting a few small additions at a higher price, you get a whole heap of different instruments and effects, or sounds from a completely different company. 1

Magic Russ Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Their algorithm is weird. It will give you upgrades based on what you have but will ignore that you have the latest version. For example I have FX Collection 3 and I upgraded to 5. It will give me a price to upgrade to version 5 based on the fact that I have version 3 and ignore that I already have version 5. 2
Sergio Posted November 7 Posted November 7 The only recent synth they released that caught my attention was the Jup-8000 V and it's not on sale and not included in the Collection 11. I'd rather spent those $99 upgrading my Korg Collection to version 6. I'll wait for a future V Collection with more interesting additions. Furthermore... I have a REAL Roland Jp8080 to play with. Just hoped for a more convenient way to get similar sounds in my daw. Anyway... the Usual Suspects will eventually release their PERFECT JP-8000/JP-8080 emulation one of these days 1

Looks like it's included to me - unless you're talking about the Intro version. Don't think anything's come out since 11 was released.
Magic Russ Posted November 7 Posted November 7 I just did the V Collection update from 9 to 11. There's quite a bit to unpack, but... I'm finding a lot of inspiration in Pure LoFi Acid sounds better than I was expecting. The Augmented series sounds pretty good with a lot of potential. They seem to still be pretty resource intensive. I'm not sure the others don't fill a need that isn't already covered. 2

Don't think anything's come out since 11 was released. I stand corrected. I did a fast search and found the page https://www.arturia.com/store/v-collection-pro and I didn't noticed the "See More" button at the end 😇 Thanks for the remark. Well... this changes the things a bit. I will look more closely the rest of instruments added for me. I'm also at the version 9 but I bought some solo items like the minibrute and minifreak. And I totally forgot about the Synthx V that also looks interesting. 2
aidan o driscoll Posted Saturday at 12:39 PM Posted Saturday at 12:39 PM (edited) I suppose from V8 ( me ) to 11 pro adds a good bit more - V8 has 30 instruments while V11 has 45 instruments including instruments from 9 to 11. The only ones i would not be interested in are the Augmented instruments - resource hogs. Other than that the Acid V, Pure LoFi and the synth X sound interesting. Update to Piano V3 ( V8 has v2 ) is alot better than V2. Also the Mini V4 update ( V8 has v3 ). Probably other version updates also not included in v8. So $99 sounds OK to me anyway - from v8 to v11. For anyone interested you can break the payment of $99 into 3 over 3 months @ $33 a month. No Interest - using Klarna at the checkout page. I have done this in the past, eases the pain Edited Saturday at 12:40 PM by aidan o driscoll

I don't know if it has anything to do with your problem but I cannot log in into my Xils Lab account for days now. It looks like they blocked my country (or at least my ISP) because their page does not even load anymore. I solved the problem accessing it via a VPN service, As I didn't want to spend money just for that I searched and found the reputable Proton VPN service, where you can create a free account. I installed it in a secondary PC (not my music computer) and could bypass the block, access my account, download the latest versions and even opened a support ticket about my problem. Just a suggestion. Edited Monday at 12:49 AM by Sergio 1
