Ludwig Bouwer Posted October 28 Posted October 28 (edited) It would be far more useful if all the menus in [Process>Apply Audio] allowed you to still scroll around and/or highlight sections "behind" them and audition or process bits of audio without rendering the DAW locked while settings values. At the moment these menus disable all other operations. For an example of what is ideal, see RX11 Standalone. Edited October 28 by Ludwig Bouwer 1
Promidi Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I think what you’re asking is can these windows be made non-modal. 1
Base 57 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Those processes are ancient. They were added as part of the toolset when Cakewalk first added audio tracks to the sequencer (like back when dinosaurs were still walking around). It certainly doesn't hurt to ask the bakers to make changes to these things, but I just asked my Magic 8 Ball if it would happen and its sources say no.
sjoens Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Untrusty sources, I'd say. According to "other" sources. . . dinosaurs still roam the earth - tho I'm not inclined to believe them either. 1
Ludwig Bouwer Posted November 2 Author Posted November 2 They are useful processes and very much part of every DAW - I'd say a quick revamp would be time well-spent. 1
