No Sound Coming from Instruments

I recently downloaded Cakewalk Next and I can't get the instruments to make any sound. I can use samples to make a track, but every time I use an instrument it remains silent when I use playback. I can hear the notes in piano roll as I place them, but not when I play it back.

I've checked the note velocities and the output to master, but can't figure it out.

Hi @RD,

Sorry for the troubles here. If you get sounds when you place notes then you are really close! A few things you may want to check:

- Is the level meter turned all the way down on your track?
- Are the notes appearing in your MIDI clip?
- Do you have any audio effects on the track that may be lowering the volume

If you continue to have trouble you may want to reach out to our support team with your project and they may be able to see a bit better whats going on.
