Tinman
Having a bit of a problem with session drummer 3. I cannot get it to work at all. I am trying to get it to output MIDI so I can use it with A Roland D110 and Yamaha TG55. I find documentation on it to be of no help whatsoever in how to set it up. Seeing as in the VST properties I see both MIDI input and output I presume it is capable of sending a MIDI note when you trigger one of the instruments, unless I`m way off base. Any suggestions would be greatly received and appreciated. 🙂 Thanks
Chaps
Did you enable MIDI Output in the Insert Soft Synth Options? Just curious, why not just use a MIDI track to trigger external devices? Are you getting any sound from Session Drummer at all? Did you load a kit?
Tinman
Thanks for the reply Chaps but doesnt appear to be in soft synths only appears in FX for some reason. Chaps
Here is what I suggest doing. In the Session Drummer window, open the Plug-in Settings and click Plug-In Properties. In that window you can select Enable as plug-in, Configure as synth, or both. If you don't enable Configure as synth you won't be able to insert is as a synth. If you don't enable Enable as plug-in you won't be able to insert it in the FX bin.
