Drivers working in Cakewalk by Bandlab and FL Studio but Sonar chokes

It just makes a metallic ping sound when there's a note playing. My Windows audio is frozen at 48kHz. But, as I mentioned, other programs work fine. Any cluies?

What drivers? F1, MotoGP, Nascar, Bus drivers?
