When is LUNA Pro 2.0 releasing?
LUNA 2.0 and LUNA Pro 2.0 will be released on Oct. 21st, 2025. 

What’s going to be included in LUNA Pro 2.0?
We’ve decided not to announce the entire contents of the updated LUNA Pro quite yet… but you can expect 15 additional UAD plug-ins, hardware inserts, Melodyne Essentials, and more! 

What will LUNA Pro 2.0 cost?
LUNA Pro 2.0 will be priced at $199; however, anyone who owns the original LUNA Pro bundle will qualify for a FREE upgrade to LUNA Pro 2.0 once it is released on Oct. 21st. 

Even better, LUNA Pro is currently on sale for $129, so it’s a great time to make a purchase now and get upgraded to LUNA Pro 2.0 for free on Oct. 21st. 

Who exactly qualifies for the free upgrade to LUNA Pro 2.0?
Anyone who owns the original LUNA Pro bundle will be eligible to redeem a free upgrade to LUNA Pro 2.0. 

This means if you purchased LUNA Pro outright, or simply purchased all of the plug-ins that make up LUNA Pro individually or through purchasing another bundle like UAD Ultimate 11, 12, or 13, or UAD Complete 2 or 3, you qualify for the free upgrade. 

Note: Promotional plug-in licenses do not count towards LUNA Pro ownership. If you only own a promotional license for a plug-in included in LUNA Pro, you will not qualify for the free upgrade. In this context, promotional licenses are defined as a license you got for free, like as part of a plug-in giveaway or bundled with hardware.

I only own a promotional license for one or more plug-ins included in LUNA Pro, but otherwise own a full license for all the other plug-ins. Is there a discount available for me?
Yes! If you only own a promotional license for one or more of the plug-ins included with LUNA Pro, but otherwise own a full license for all the other plug-ins in LUNA Pro, you will qualify for a $49 upgrade to LUNA Pro 2.0.  

I bought LUNA Pro a long time ago. Do I still qualify for the free upgrade?
Yes! Anyone who has purchased LUNA Pro since it was originally released qualifies for the free upgrade.

How do I know if I qualify for the free upgrade?
The easiest way is to go to the LUNA Pro product page while logged into your account and see if there is an “Owned” badge in the top left corner. Additionally, if the bundle is owned, the “Add to Cart” button will say “Buy Again” instead. 

You can also check to see if you own all of the following plug-ins and extensions that make up the LUNA Pro bundle by visiting the “Plug-Ins” page on your account.

Yes, once LUNA Pro 2.0 goes live, we will have a 14-day trial available.

This won't show up as an update in UA Connect.  You have to go to the website
and purchase the upgrade and if you already own Luna Pro 1 the price will
be zero.
