Pcode
An old Urdu song made new (in E major) let me know what you guys think? Thanks...
Paul DeVillo
Great clarity in this mix. I like the panning on the 2 acoustic guitar tracks. I'm getting a Paul McCartney/Wings vibe from this track. Nicely done.
PhonoBrainer
Mix clarity is great, very sparkly but that bass fills the down low just great. I hear Imogen Heap. So that's sort of like Paul McCartney You have a good voice and the ear candy is way good. Nice mix of the modern with the acoustic guitars. Got any English lyrics? My Urdu is sadly non-existent. cheers, -Tom
Pcode
emeraldsoul: here is some translation I did for you, it kinda fails to keep it's rhyming, and it's true essence, as languages are so different... Urdu was created as a poetic language, by the Mughal Empire, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mughal_Empire) my Urdu is not all that great, but here is an attempt ... Urdu: aaj din bhar bekaar tha English: today was ineffectual day Urdu: ajib si uljhan ka shikaar tha English: For I was in odd confusion Urdu: mujhe ab satao naa English: Please don’t distress me any more Urdu: main aaj chup hoon rulao naa English: I am silent, don’t make me cry Urdu: jeeu main kaise batao naa English: How am I to live, without you Urdu: baahar hai naa aaram naa ghar me chain English: There is no balance, inside or outside Urdu: kaisa kare jaadu mujhpe tere nain English: For I am mesmerized by your eyes Urdu: tune mujhse mujhko hi chheen liya English: you have stolen, I, from I Urdu: teri har adaa ne mujhko pagal kiya English: Your every foible is driving me crazy Urdu: ab aur mujhko satao naa English: Don’t cause any more sorrow Urdu: main aaj chup hoon rulao naa English: Please don’t distress me any more Thanks for listening Paul .... SPAK
Sweet, but not to sure about it, didn't seem to 'hold me' but the mix felt right for the work ... good post SPAK
PhonoBrainer
Thanks for the translation! Very enjoyable, and I prefer those lyrics to many of the more English English ones' I've heard.

bjornpdx
I like this song a lot. Bit of a reggae thing going on in there. Really good vocal (great reverb too) which makes me not care so much that I don't understand the lyrics. The synth at 2:27 didn't work for me - seemed like a departure from the laid back mood of the rest of the song.
X-53mph
Great mixing and mastering. Slightly heavy on the reverb for my tasts, but I know the genre you're working in, and it's spot on. Was this all done in Cakewalk? I probably shouldn't be promoting other sites, but I think you should get over to HitRecord.org and start collaborating on projects there. This is just the type of sound they would go for in their collabs.

I switch between SONAR and Cubase. 7 hours ago, 53mph said: HitRecord.org I will check it out, Thanks... 22 hours ago, Wookiee said: Only listening on my DT 100 cans but the mix is very clear on them, thanks for sharing. garybrun
Very clear mix, Reminds me of Norwegian artist Morten Harkett from the 80's group Ah-Ha. His music is very similar. I enjoyed the reverb and thought it was well done and the mix was wide Nice mixture of different electronic instruments I can hear thereverb tails well on my Focal monitors. SteenE
Nice song, nice mix. Personally I would choose another snare, but that's probably just me.
freddy j
Super mix on this song!! There is something about the melody of this song that is really attractive, and the vocal presentation fits perfectly. Nice One!!!
