New Verison of Falcon is out - another free update!

Plus buy one get one expansions - definitely something to use my $20 coupon on.

Nice, thanks @husker!

The gift that keeps on giving!  Falcon and Pigments cover most of my needs and just keep getting better!  Omnisphere owners have to cough up like $200 for the upgrade!

I was just thinking of the same thing - props to both UVI and Arturia for their generosity.   What is Pigments up to now?   V6?   I bought it when it first came out.    I did buy some expansions over the years.

The problem is not imho that omnispher eupgrade is expênsive , what they deliver is worth , the problem is that the price is fair if all new stuff is usefull to you , which in my case is not at all the case , i don't need more sounds , i have too much !!!!

fx : same !!!

I bougth HW 's because of WORKFLOW :!!!!! and fun !!!!

Falcon update is solid ,  the super saw is super light to cpu and was needed .... as for the fx , don't care lol expt maybe the drive ....but what we already have is solid ...but workflow wise ? zero enhacement in both brands ....

I guess Pigments will get another update early next year? They seem to be consistent with yearly updates.

Helas no demo possible , i asked them to allow us like 5 presets or realease a free bundle of all epaxnsions with 2 or 3 porestes from each to be able to test .... but nope ...

With some presets in these expansions, you can reduce CPU use by lowering the polyphony count on the presets.

By default,  some have really high polyphony (around 64 or even 128).

Another thing to try is turn off Falcon’s built in effects and use external effects instead.

Thanks for the info, Zo!  I'll keep that in mind!  I have Organic Arps and Modular Noise and haven't noticed any issues on my M2 MacBook Air.

There's now an update to Falcon, labelled v 26.0.1. This version fixes a problem where, under some circumstances, the DAW could be left hanging upon closing, after Falcon 26.0.0 had been used. The DAW thread then had to be killed in Task Manager. I experienced it myself in both Cubase and Sonar, running Windows 10.

Run UVI Portal to update.
