The Fanatical site says "Redeem Keys on Magix" but we all know at least some of what has happened to Magix [financial difficulties, sale, etc.

Due to the amount of feedback we’ve extended the Boris FX Pro Audio upgrade offer through November 30th!

If you own any previous version of Sequoia, Samplitude, or Music Studio, you can upgrade to the latest release for one simple price. Get access to the newest tools, improved performance, and regular updates designed to make your audio workflow faster and more efficient.

Upgrading is easy: just enter your existing MAGIX serial number at checkout.

To be honest, I kind of started losing track after Sonic Foundry [SOFO] products went to SONY and then to Magix. I followed the corporate drama a little bit, but does any one know about the products in this Bundle (will the Magix servers authorize the products from Fanatical, have the products been sold off to a buyer, any thought on whether or not the licenses / products will continue to work, etc.)?  I assume that there will be no updates (new features, bug fixes, support).

Magix and Fanatical are back with the industry-leading, award-winning Vegas Pro Edit 21 video editing software package, together with the equally standout Sound Forge Audio Studio 17 and the awesome Premium version of Music Maker 2024.

I ask because I've used Sound Forge since the days of SOFO (including some  later incarnations from SONY and Magix) .   It looks like my most recent version of Sound Forge Pro was 11 and my most recent non-pro version was Magix's Audio Studio 14.

Despite my horrible experiences with the Magix Low-Latency Driver (which completely ultimately led me to uninstall my Magix products with Revo Uninstaller Pro), I am reluctantly considering this bundle.

No need to rehash the history on my account, I'm more interested in recent experiences and research abut the future of these products.  Thanks.

My response like others would include elements of speculation.

That said, the products like Vegas and Sound Forge seem like they are still with Magix and the Magix servers still authorize products from what I can tell from my account.

If thre is any support or expectation of future versions I have no idea.  But if you are still on Pro 11, I'd agree Pro 17 would be tempting.

I was also under the impression that Music Studio (not Music Maker) is what was sold to BorisFX.  Thereofre my assumption is that product bundled here also wasn't part of the sale.

Again, I have no real knowledge of anything but I'd assume the decision is more about speculation related to what might happen to Magix's core line they still theoretically own.

SoundForge might not have a large market but I'd be surprised if it literally died off without another buyer, etc to keep activations afloat even if Magix went under.  Stranger things have happened though.
