Starship Krupa
This time there are several items I don't already have. All those MODO instruments, Pianoverse, half a dozen T RackS FX. I already have most of the included T Racks modules, but not all of them are version 6. What's the word on these modeled/sampled instruments like the MODO stuff and Pianoverse?

It doesn't have all the mic options like MeldwayGrand, but the sound quality and feel is on that level. Of course with this bundle you are just getting the Black Pearl and the Royal Upright (vs the 9 available int eh GB). Both of those pianos are certainly different than the tone of the Meldway Steinway "L" The MODO stuff I'd say depends. I thought each has a free tier, I'd test it out and see what you think, though I'm not sure what you get in terms of patterns if you are getting the individual instruments vs getting the full modo product. For modo bass you can turn off the cab section then run TONEX as a plugin after it in your DAW to give a little more realistic tone. I don't view either as among the best on the market, but can certainly get useable stuff depending on the sound you are after and needs.

You'd be better off doing what Larry did with the APD deal to qualify at the $99 tier and getting the better Pianoverse instruments (Yamaha grands; Steinways). I do like the Black Pearl, though!
Starship Krupa
I snagged this in part to get the T-RackS 6 versions of multiple modules I have in T-RackS 5 form, but the only T-RackS 6 module that's showing up in IK Product Manager and my account on their site is Lo-Fi Punch. Should have also gotten De-Esser, Stealth Limiter, Tape Echo, and EQ-81 in v. 6 form, but none of them show up in v. 6 form. Stealth Limiter doesn't show up anywhere. I already had the others in v. 5 form. All of the MODO and Pianoverse instruments show up. Has anyone else picked this up? If so, did you get all the products you were entitled to (specifically the T-RackS 6 stuff)?

What's strangest is that the v. 6 modules I already had licenses for no longer appear as such in these locations either. I'm going to try completely reinstalling T-RackS 6. Starship Krupa
O hail yeah! I did a full reinstall of T-RackS 6 and just went through my plug-in browser and instantiated all of the processors I know I have licenses for. Not only did all of the expected processors show up as licensed, but my half dozen T-RackS 5 processors that are not included in T-RackS 6 Standard now function in v. 6 form. Including my beloved VC-670. With sidechaining, the T-RackS compressors might see more action. This is much more than I expected and I am a happy purchaser. Haven't tried the modeled/hybrid instruments yet, but if @Brian Walton thinks Pianoverse is "amazing top of the class stuff," I will certainly give it a try. Fancy basses were formerly under represented in my collection of instruments, I have some in SampleTank 4, but I was able even with the free version of MODO Bass to surpass the SampleTank Rickenbacker I had started with on a recent project. This was due to all of the options. Even the single reduced feature P Bass that the free version has was versatile enough to cop a credible Rick tone. Once again the loss leader pays off. Looking forward to the Black Oyster MODO Drum. Ringo's drum tone is a holy grail, I bought the same model of snare he has used for over 60 years (mine's a couple of years older) to see if I could get close. I still don't have a virtual drum instrument that includes a Ludwig Acrolite snare; that's my absolute favorite drum. Not quite worth tracking down when I can sample my own. Very interested to hear how these MODO kits compare to what I have in Addictive Drums 2, which is the Fairfax kit.

I wouldn't go quite as far as 'top of the class' for Pianoverse, but they are certainly *very* nice virtual pianos, and if I didn't already have oodles of VI Labs/VSL instruments (and the utterly beautiful PremierSound Kawai Legend!), I'd be amazed at their tone and playability. Piano is my main instrument so I'm reasonably picky!

VSL Id also give a similar designation. They are effectively different flavors due to mic placement and mics used and there is certainly some subjectivity of preference given how close they are in response and sound quality. The VSL libraries are also in the 50GB per piano range and tend to be more expensive.
