Notes_Norton Posted October 10 Posted October 10 RIP and thanks for the great music. Observation: More and more we are becoming a ghost band, playing music made famous by the dearly departed. 1
Starship Krupa Posted October 11 Posted October 11 That leaves only Justin Hayward, I think? Overused term, but I think it's safe to say that John Lodge was a very underrated bassist. Although a Moodies fan, I'm not sure about which of their songs he wrote, due to Justin being the one who sang them (I think). "Ride My See-Saw" is a great track, as is "I'm Just a Singer." I think those were his.
Terry Kelley Posted October 11 Author Posted October 11 I think so. Justin is only 78 so he might be around a bit longer. I think he was the youngest of the 5. 1
Triangleman Posted October 12 Posted October 12 I listened to Blue Jays last night. Great memories. 3
Old Joad Posted October 13 Posted October 13 RIP On a side note, I thought this was a good interview. 1

The ones I’ve played were nice but not worth the money. Of course no wood in an electric guitar is worth the going price for name brands. John was certainly way above average in his playing but he always played what the song needed. Edited October 19 by Terry Kelley
