That leaves only Justin Hayward, I think?

Overused term, but I think it's safe to say that John Lodge was a very underrated bassist.

Although a Moodies fan, I'm not sure about which of their songs he wrote, due to Justin being the one who sang them (I think). "Ride My See-Saw" is a great track, as is "I'm Just a Singer." I think those were his.

I agree. I saw him live with the MB .

We sat in 2nd row right in front of him.

Excellent bassist.

What's that?

It’s a brand of bass. Been around for decades. Some people swear by them. The ones I’ve played were nice but not worth the money.  Of course no wood in an electric guitar is worth the going price for name brands.

John was certainly way above average in his playing but he always played what the song needed.

Sorry Terry, his reply was part of an inside joke.  Ed (Bapu) has 'em! 🙂
