congalocke
Hey everyone, I just updated my recording computer to Windows 10 and accessing my projects seems to take a bit longer and I was wondering what it might look like if I upgraded to Cakewalk? Having the same layout is inviting as I'm so used to it. Can I just open up my Sonar X1 projects no hassle? Thanks,
William W. Saunders, Jr.
Absolutely. It's seamless. There is nobody I have heard of (on this forum or elsewhere ) who has ever regretted going from SONAR (any version) to Cakewalk by BandLab. Do It!
congalocke
WOW...just updated and it feels like I stepped into a Ferrari. It was effortless... Upon installation it seemed to step in and take over previous information from Sonar X1 and when I opened it had all my plugs and current projects. I had a plug that was being picky in Windows 7 and Windows 10 and it's now recognized and there. Projects are now opening with ease like before Windows 10 with lots of options but I'm able to easily start making music again and it even added plugs, (even though I have my standbys). I'm really grateful at this point... Edited December 1, 2019 by congalocke
