Steve_B
@Paul MacDonald Do you have any idea when IK Multimedia's sampletank 4, syntronik 2 and sampletron will function in next? They are seen as FX, not as instruments, making next unusable for me. I spoke to support via email, they said they knew about the issue and were working on it. I figured it would have been fixed in this update but wasn't. The above problem was posted in the Next 2025.09 thread. I have those plugins installed and working on my system. It looks like a problem with Next not being able to cope with vst3 files being installed in folders named as ,for example, Syntronik.vst3, which seems to be the new standard. 2 workarounds:- 1. Use vst2 version or 2.Rename the folder where the vst3 is installed and delete the .vst3 from folder name The Next devs need to look at how CdB and Sonar handle the reading of those folder names as it's no longer a problem there. Paul MacDonald
Thanks for this, that fixed it. Most other folders have vst3 in the file name but work fine. Strange... Thanks a million!
