I thought it was due to my lack of talent.
GTsongwriter
Despite Waves Audio being a sour taste in everyone's mouth, I have gone back to several of their plugins because they "just work" and are the most bug free and dependable of plugins I've used, except for Sync VX. Other than their recent plugins, Most of those older plugins they carry have gone thru the ringer and are very stable and that makes working on your project not a waste of time. What I hate is companies that put out products too soon without much work on getting them completely bug free... Looking at Sonible and WA Productions.. Sonible Smart Limiter is the only dependable plug-in of their lineup.. I've ran into many bugs working with all their other plugins. WA Productions plugins just buggy from the get go.. Flashy and all. Bugs.. not worth your time..

I've got at least a couple dozen plugin brands installed (over 1k plugins) and have used more that are not installed. The list of makers that had a show stopping bug are maybe 5 that I've come across and WAVES was one of those and two plugins never worked again and required re buying the plugin (WUP) to make it work again. (V9 and v12 - so not limited to a single timeframe and different plugins). I'm having issues with Supertone Clear but appears related to Sonar by bandlab as it works on Cake By Bandlab. WA I don't take very seriously based on similar experiences. Others I'm thinking of have a reputation for mistakes on release but are committed to fixing them over time without additional charges. So, what does the marketing write up say about that? ( there is nothing new about quadraphonic limiting, been doing it for a while now. New is not new, it just means that you finally heard about it, that's all. Today's music is "more dynamic" - are they serious?
