Liveprompter 2 and the like?

Liveprompter 2 looks promising but I have no experience with anything like this.  So, I am going to do some one man band type stuff like I used to do between bands and things. I use backing tracks of my own. 

I have some memory fog thanks to CML so I was looking for a windows app (android is too small for me) that would croll words and chords in time with the backing track play. My backing tracks can be midi, MP3, Wave whatever.
