Actually, if you have AmpliTube 5, you'll get the latest version of AmpliTube.

The AmpliTube 5 MAX V2 adds a number of additional collections to AmpliTube 5 MAX.  The way to go from AmpliTube 5 MAX to V2 is by adding the following:

• AmpliTube MESA/Boogie 2 Collection
• X-GEAR:
  • X-DRIVE
  • X-TIME
  • X-SPACE
  • X-VIBE

That's for Amplitube 5 Max V2 though, so the V2 version is of the Max bundle as opposed to Amplitube itself from my understanding. Sounds like adding the effects from the Max V2 bundle would get you the equivalent of the bundle. Amplitube itself still would be the same version though, so not V2 as there isn't one.

Thanks for clarifying. So the update to v2 is not an improvement in quality or technology (like Tonex v1 vs v2 captures) but rather about getting the newer products mentioned that were not included in Amplitube v1. Well I now have v2 since I got all those with my freebies. I guess I will use my last freebie to get Hitmaker:Trap samples and complete the whole collection ; )

Ah, you're talking about "AmpliTube 5 MAX v2" - pretty sure that's just additional gear.  Probably can get all those as freebies.  I don't see specific MAX v2 option, but maybe if you have all the MAX v2 gear, it counts?

Welcome Pluto and I would expect an updated version would be AmpliTube 6 or sometimes a small update it might be AmpliTube 5.5 or something.

Those Hitmaker ones weren't great from memory..  Their drums like the Neil Pert Kits I do like though.

But sometimes with these Group Buys you end up running out of choices!

Looks like there could be some issues for some people with the Group Buy.

The website / services not being accessible for some, probably due to peak load.

Our team is making changes to make sure the performance improves as there is heavier load upon the systems.

Also note that if you do run into issues, participants have 30 days after the promotion ends (so 30 days after October 31st) to choose free items so you do have time and I definitely appreciate your patience if you have not yet made your choices.

Communication through IKM's technical difficulties has been fairly sparse and sporadic, but there are a few nuggets of info here and there. The best bet is usually IK's forum (when their site is working) or any thread Peter himself started (like the one on KVR that contains the quoted message above).

If what you see in your account doesn't match the most current description available, it might be time for a support ticket. But in this case, the single slot available might be confusing people, if they haven't heard the format has changed.

Same thing's happening to me now. I had almost all my redemptions pending (for the 49 and 99 tiers), and now they've just disappeared. A few are showing up like they've already been redeemed.

I lost one slot - I got 500 Connection Reset after clicking the red confirm button. The slot was indicated as redeemed but I never got the Hyde Street Amp Locker Tonex Signature collection. I restored purchases but that collection doesn't show up. I know it didn't go through because I didn't get an email confirmation. 

I put everything on hold until IK support lets me know what's going on

The IK sit has been slammed lately due to the group buy. I would wait a while before pulling the trigger on freebies.
