Fleer
Absolutely pissed at this company for not updating their VKFX keyboard effects suite. So I ain’t buying anything from them anymore until they rectify or do what Audiothing did with Alborosie.: provide an alternative. Go, Overloud. Not. Rectify.

Royal Yaksman Posted yesterday at 03:45 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:45 PM It's actually quite irritating how handy this plug might be. It has a bit of magic going with how it can give heft to the bottom-end and really brighten the top-end without losing clarity or creating muddiness/harshness. I tried to make my own Frankenstein chain of plugs to see if I could ballpark the Fuse, and found that I could either match the brightness at the cost of the low-end losing clarity and oomph, or match the low-end weight but at the cost of losing a bit of that high sheen polish. I tried to split the difference but the closest I could get the Frankenstein chain was a wider but slightly less dense sounding mix with a bit more overall clarity but somehow less focus. 😁 So, the tricks that it has are *ahem*... Solid! (Pun could not be avoided.) It won't suit everything, but when you need to add density, weight, and brightness whilst maintaining the focus, this one has got the stuff and is far easier to wield than 7 or 8 plugs trying to be it.
