8Dio Majestica Ultra @ $49 - Thoughts??

that's a lot of bloat dedicated to bombastic stuff.  I have most of it.

If you didn't need percussion the All Century Bundle would be better,

It think when people want to dabble in orchestra sounds they often buy too much.

That bundle is best for sample hoarding.

The other plus is it is for full Kontakt.   I still don't like Spitfire's player or Sine.

The Musio offering is great.

It depends on what version of Komplete you have.  There's plenty of orchestra there.

I did but the Soundpaint version of Majestica yesterday.  Now I ask myself why.

I have it and like it (not Ultra) and I also have 8W Version (formerly exclusive version).  It can be useful in the proper setting...very tweakable also being Kontakt
driven.  It's certainly not the best, and it won't be as fast as things like "The Score" or "The Orchestra", but if you do Orchestra, and know what your doing, it can
be decent.

I think today is the last day to get East West Fantasy Orchestra with the 10% off with code LABORDAY2025 at APD if that interests you
https://audioplugin.deals/product/eastwest-hollywood-fantasy-orchestra-bundle/

I had the 8W version and went back to Majestica.  The only real difference was the bitrate

I know I'm late, but IMO if you want all the orchestral instruments (+choirs, pianos, drums, world instruments etc.) Musio is the best value. It's been as low as $149. I'm guessing that deal will be back on Black Friday. They've even added mic positions to the orchestral instruments.

Oh man, why did I not think about that yesterday.  THAT would have been the best suggestion - relative price range, great samples, and you can pick and choose by articulation what to download, so you can manage space.

Sorry @fjz - I should have suggested this yesterday.

I see a current price of $300 for Musio, so I wouldn't have went for it. No need for apologies Husker. I'm okay with my purchase. I'm pretty sure that I'll probably never use the Extreme Ensembles Bundle, and some other stuff won't get installed right away, but it's all good. And if I ever require 66 tubas for something, I have it now. :D

Musio One is on sale frequently for $99 or $149, so if you can ever swing it, its highly recommended.
