jimlynch22
I'm seeing some of my clips get gray highlighted as I move the mouse over them. If I click in an unused area of the track pane, the highlights go away. Curser is Smart Tool. Is sonar trying to tell me something, or is this a glitch? See attached screen grab. Clips get highlighted.webm
David Baay
Can't say I've ever seen that, and can't imagine what meaning or utility it would have. I'm gonna go with "glitch".
Ben Staton Posted yesterday at 10:43 AM Share Posted yesterday at 10:43 AM @jimlynch22 Very strange. Unfortunately, we're not able to reproduce it here, which makes it very difficult to fix. Some questions: 1. Is it the latest version of Sonar? 2. Which color scheme are you using (Dark, I assume)? I ask because the colors in your video don't exactly match any of the stock color schemes! I guess it could be a side effect of the screen recording though. 3. Does it happen with all of your projects or just this one? 4. Could you send us a copy of the project? 5. Are you using any third party software that somehow customizes the appearance of Windows/apps? If so, please try disabling them. We might be able to figure out what's going on with more info. Thanks! jimlynch22
I upgraded to build 31.08.0.035 and can't reproduce this issue. I think we should let this sleeping dog lie for a while. Let me ask you an unrelated question. I submitted a ticket related to losing time sigs when committing arrangements. I believe initial due diligence done by the dev team, but I was not satisfied with the answer (the behavior is by design and we're not changing anything) and haven't heard back on my last comments on the case. Would there be any value in raising the technical issue here in the forum?
