Migration to New Win11 PC

Hi all

Transitioning from Win10 PC  to new Win11 PC will I be able to retain my old Sonar Platinum program, project files, plugins etc.  either by directly transferring (by cloning or imaging) or reinstalling Sonar Platinum from my original installation files and license numbers, the issue being (re) authorizing older program & plugins from companies that no longer exist,  same goes for Cakewalk by Bandlab program & project files.

Also,

I intend to upgrade to new Cakewalk Sonar software subscription when on new Win11 PC, will it also load old Sonar Platinum and Cakewalk by Bandlab  *.cwp project files, plugins etc.?

Just remember to deactivate any software iLok plugins from your Windows 10 PC prior to the upgrade.

I assume that this note does not apply to an upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on the same PC, right?

I would still deactivate any software iLok plugins from your Windows 10 PC prior to the upgrade on the same PC.
